Hello, my name is Ashley Shokoohee and I am the learning support English Language Arts teacher for ninth through twelfth grade students.  This is my sixth year of teaching and my first year teaching at Karns City Area School District.  I previously taught at Duquesne City School District and Pressley Ridge Day School.  I attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education in 2010.  I then chose to further my education and I also obtained my Master's Degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in Special Education in 2014.

I am so excited to teach English Language Arts at the high school level!  I look forward to a productive 2016-2017 school year working with all of you.
