I attended Karns City Jr. Sr. High School growing up and I have always lived in the School District. I  graduated from Slippery Rock University in December of 2011.  I did my student teaching at Moniteau High School and then I taught for six weeks in Dublin, Ireland.  After graduation, I started substitute teaching for Butler School District and Karns City School District.  I was hired as a long-term substitute in January 2013 to teach seniors at Karns City in General and College Prep English.  I was hired in August of 2013 to teach Language Arts 7 and I have been teaching that class ever since!  I have one daughter, Harper, who is three years old, and we are going to have a little boy in November!  I enjoy reading, traveling, and just being with my family.  I love teaching 7th grade and I am excited about the 2017-2018 school year!
