My journey to KCHS is a unique one.  I began my career as a Customer Relations Rep for LMV Leasing, a subsidiary of Xerox.  Later, I changed positions and became an Executive Secretary for the Controller and Personnel Managers.  I left that job for motherhood and spent the next 11 years raising my 3 children.  I went back to Grove City College and earned my Elementary Education certification.  Afterward, I spent a year at St. Wendelin teaching preschool plus specials.  I came to Karns City in 2005.  After being a long-term and day-to-day sub, I was hired to teach in the elementary schools.  I taught in grades 6, 5, and 4 in Chicora and Bruin.  When Bruin Elementary closed, I came to the HS to teach in the Family and Consumer Sciences department.  Currently, I teach Keyboarding 8, Becoming a Family, TV News Production, and Child Development.
