I am the learning support English Language Arts teacher for the seventh and eighth grade. This will be my ninth year working for the Karns City Area School District. As a teacher, I have taught fifth grade at Chicora Elementary, fifth and sixth-grade learning support at Sugarcreek Elementary, and have been teaching seventh and eighth grade English Language Arts for the previous six years at the high school. I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a dual certification in elementary and special education. Then, I continued my education and received a Masters Degree in reading in 2012. 

I love working with junior high students! The 2019-2020 school year will be a year full of learning and growing in all areas, especially in reading and writing. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with your student(s) and you this school year!
