Hello!  Welcome to U.S. History 8...The History of you!!

I am Mr. Jacob Bishop  I have been teaching 8th Grade U.S. History at Karns City for 16 years.  I graduated from KC in 1994.  I have two Bachelor's degrees from I.U.P. and Seton Hill College and a Masters degree from Gannon University.  Before teaching at KC, I taught two years at Cathedral school which is inner city Harrisburg, PA.  

Hobbies/Fun Facts:  My wife teaches music at Moniteau and I have three wonderful boys. I enjoy teaching/playing with my sons, traveling, hunting, fishing, riding trains, watching/playing sports, carpentry, & READING HISTORY & TEACHING!My favorite author is Jeff Shaara...who writes historical novels.
